The geometry of two planes meeting at a right angle launched Pale Blaze. This experiment began as an investigation into the optical and structural relationship between translucent pieces intersecting at 90 degree angles. Initially conceived as a study of light, color, material, and geometry, its function emerged naturally from the strength of its simplest form. Multiple T-shaped cast resin modular pieces can carry a glass top of variable size, creating a table which filters light and color throughout the day.
